ANGLING NOTES.
[By Black Spider.] About a dozen Dunedin anglers fished the Shag River on the opening day of the season, and without exception all made first-class baskets. The water was all that could be desired. The fish were plentiful, very game, and in fair condition. The following have favored me with the weights of their baskets : October 1 J. Wilkie 20 fish, 301b „ P. Snowden 20 fish, 221b „ W.
