(Received October 5,1885, at 10 p.m.) Sir Alexander Stuart placed his resignation in the hands of the Governor to-day. His Excellency sent for the Hon. W. B. Dalley, who, however, declined to form a Ministry. Lord Loftus then called on Mr Dibbs, who undertook the task, and is now engaged in endeavoring to re-construct the Ministry.
