There was a special meeting at Wain's Hotel on Saturday evening between the Cricket Association's delegates and representatives of junior clubs re the resumption of junior cap matches, Mr W. C. Kennedy presided. The rules were discussed at some length, but little progress was made with them. The feeling of the clubs represented was in favor of paying a lump sum to the Association, and leaving to the delegates the deter nination of what players Should be entitled to compete for the trophies. The meeting was adjourned till Thursday. A meeting of those favorable to the formation of an Amateur Athletic Club was held at tho Grand Hotel on Saturday night. Mr D. M. Those present enrolled themselves a3 members, and it was decided to hold the first gathering under tho Club's auspices on the Caledonian Ground on the Prince of Wales's Birth- . day.
