SUPREME COURT.
Wednesday, December 20. —' (Before Mr Justice Williams.) Begin a v. Borrows. —This was a motion for a writ of prohibition. Mr Haggitt appeared to show cause ; Mr Stewart to move the rule absolute ; but on Mr Haggitt’s application the matter was adjourned till Friday, when it will be taken in Chambers. M‘Vaughan v. the Invercargill Waste Land Board. —An appeal from the Board’s decision. This matter was, on Mr Haggitt’s application, ordered to stand over till the first sitting in Banco after the ensuing civil sittings. Stamper v. Turnbull. —This case was a demurrer to a replication, and it was adjourned till to-morrow. Hogg and Another v. Millar amd Another. —A motion to dismiss action for want of prosecution. Mr Haggitt stated that the motion bad been withdrawn for the present by consent of both parties.
