RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Wednesday, November 29. (Before T. A. Mansford, Esq., R.M.) Judgment was given for plaintiff by default in the following cases:—Oliver and Ulph v. Henry Byrne, claim L 29 5s Sd, for dishonored acceptance ; H. H. Kitchener v. Andrew Craig, LI6 ss, for rent due; Guthrie and Larnach v. John Henderson, L 62 6s 3d, for timber supplied ; T. and G. Young v. Robert Thomson, L2 13s 6d, for jewellery supplied; Young v. Robert Fitzroy Boulton, L 3; William Perry v. James B. M'Culloch, L 6 12s. Hudson v. George and Charles Clarke.— Claim L 5 lis o'd, for goods supplied. Judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount claimed, with costs. Heeles, M'Beath, and Co. v. J. Walsh. —Claim L 23 lis 2d, for goods supplied. Defendant admitted the debt, and judgment was given for the amount claimed, with costs. Cotter r. F. J. Bassett.—Claim LlO 18s 6d, on a judgment summons. Defendant was ordered to pay the amount before the 15th inst., or be imprisoned for six days. Couston v. Ker.—Claim L 5 17s, for work done. In this case his Worship gave judgment for plaintiff for the amount paid into Court, and nonsuited him as to the remainder. M'Connell v. Wain and Another.—Claim L 97 9s, on a contract. His Worship gave judgment for defendant, with costs.
