Section 28.-When a householder knows that a person willnu the house occupied by him is taken sick of tniall pox, cholera, or any other highly infectious disease dangerous to the people, he shall immediately give notice thereof to the Local Board of the District in which he dwells.—Penalty, LlO. - langerous infectious disease, wilfully ex| oses himstlf without proper precautions against spreading the said disorder in any street, public place, shop, car. or public conveyance, or enters any public conveyance without previously notifying to the owner conductor, or driver thereof that he is so suffering, shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding L 5. THE CITY COUNCIL having prepared t onditions and Stipulations for Street Tramways for the City, begs to invite otters from persons prepared to construct and work the same, and to assume the position and obligations of promoters in respect thereof. The concession to be for a term of Seven Years Copies of Draft Conditions may be obtained at the Town Clerk's Office, where also tenders or offers for the construction and working of the tramways may be lodged on or before Ist January, 18 T 7 The Caversham Road Board, and the buburban Municipal Councils of St. Kilda and South Uunedin, having passed solutions favorable to allowing the tramway promoters to continue the line of tramway through the several districts under their management, the promoters to pay merely a peppercorn rent to the suburban authorities : It would there-fore be well that alternative tenders should be lodged : Ist.
