Taupo, met at tho Provincial Hotel, Port Chalmers, on the occasion of his being presented with a handsome tea and coffee service, together with an illuminated addn-83 from the officers and crew of tho ss. Wellington, formerly under his command. Captain D. Sinclair took the chair, and, after a/ew introductory remarks, presen+ed the address and service to Captain Carey.
