GOOD TEMPLAR FETE.
The Good Templar lodges in nnd around Dunedin held their annual picnic at jtfosgiel to-day. They musterid at the Temperance Hall, and shortly after .0 am formed tbemsdve into a procession, and, headed by the Tomahawk laud, they made a tour cf tho principal streets in the following orticr.— Members of the j -.veuiJe tempks and the r officers; members and oificers of decree temples; Biste:s and officetß of the various lodges; brethren o ; various lodges; grand lodge officers. Uis estimated thai the procession comprised nearly 503 adults and 100 chi'drer, and itß numbers would have been increased if many members had been able to don the regalia. By telegraph wo learn that the pic-nic was a great success. 800 people were on the ground, and hundreds, frith the band, were left behind. The weather is flue, and races, football, and other sporlß are being held.
