Matheaon Bros. v. Andrew Haldane.— L 25 18s 3d, on a judgment summons. Mr Denniston appeared for plaintiffs, and asked for an immediate order. Defendant was ordered to pay the amount before the 16tb inst., or, in default, two days’ impnsonment. _ John Entwistle v. Henry Boxwell.—Claim LI 15s 3d, on a judgment summons. Defendant was ordered to settle the *l*s™ within a week, or, in default, fourteen days’ imprisonment.
Thos. Hutchinson v. Jos. Dickenson.— Claim L 8 6s. Defendant was ordered to pay 10s immediately, and the balance by monthly instalments ef 10s each* or, in default* four weeks’ imprisonment. . Judgment was given for plaintiffs in the following cases, with costs Henry Benjamin v. W. H. Robson,. LID; D. CPKane v. J. D. Ferraud, L 5; W. Thomson y. John Gilbert, Ll7 19a 9d; Mathieqon Bros, v G Burrows, L2B 14s 9d; T. Bracken and Go. v. W, J. Morrish, L 4; same v, J. J. Atkinson, L 6; H. Metz v. G. Sykes, LI 13s; G. Davidson v. Hugh Ward, L 3; Wright, Stephenson and Co. y. J. Roddick, Ll9 17s and M‘Bought v. Montague Dodd, L2 lls 4d. 6
Matthew Dickson v. H. Houghton and Co.—This was an action brought by the master of the cutter Grace to recover L 7 17s . for freight. Mr Strode appeared for Mr Sinclair defended.—Judgment was reserved.
