The barque Anazi was removed from the railway pier this morning and anchored in the powder ground for the purpose of re-shippißg her powder. She will sail to-morrow with part of original cargo for the Bluff. 6 The Union Company's steamer Taiaroa, with cargo and passengers for Timaru, sailed last evening. Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood's s.s. Axawata from elson via Wellington and Lyttelton arrived alongside the railway pier at 8 this morning, with cargo and 64 passengers, including the Simonsens' Opera Company, and 45 passengers from other ports. She left Nelson at 11.45 a.m. onthe23nd, cleared the French Pass at 2 p.m., and arrived at Wellington at 8 p.m. same day; remained there until 1 p.m. on the 23rd, when she sailed for Lyttelton, at which port she arrived at 5 a.m. on the 24th, took on board 1,600 sacks of oats, leaving for Port Chalmers at 4 p.m., and arriving as stated. We thank Mr Miller (purser) for report and Northern exchanges. TheArawata sailed again this afternoon for Melbourne via the Bluif with the Suez mail. The Union Company's s.s. Taupo with cargo and passengers for the Northern ports sailed this afternoon.
