OTAGO ROWING CLUB.
The annut'l general meeting ot the above clab was held at the "riterion Hotel on Monday evening, when a large member of members were present. The report an J balance sheet for 1875-6 was read, showing as follow *:—Beceipts: Entrance fees and subscriptions, L 77 9s; sale of boat, L 22 0a; debit balance, LSQ la 4d; tota', Ll3B OF 4d. Expenditure : Debit balance from 1875, Lsl lis 4d; boats and material, Lt33 4a 6d ; miscellaneous expenses, ,L 24 3s 6d; tatal, Ll3B 19s id. Assets : Subscriptions for coJTC.it year, LSB; plant, 4c, Jj'iSO; total, L3OB. The o»'ub may be considered to bo in a flourishing condition, and a number of new members are about to join. It has a good supply of boats of the class specially required for Dunedin harbour. The following gentlemen ware elected office bearers:—President, Eev T. L. Stanley; VicePresident, Ecv ». L. Stanford: Captain, J. White; Deputy Captain, E. Vickerman; Hon. Sec. and Treasurer, G. A. Fenwick. Committee—G. S. Bridges, J. A. Good, 1 nomas Hart, C. Hopo, and "W. M'Laren. It was proposed to change the present uniform to a blue and white jersey and blue cap.
