The Union Company's B .a. Beautiful Star arrived cariy this morning from Kskasul and steamed alongside the 8.9. Arawata to discharge 1.125 sacks or errain.
The ketch Franklin Belle was taken on Fletcher’s Slip yesterday for a thorough overhaul. The B.s. Hawea took her cepirturo this afternoon from the new pier with cargo and passengers for Northern ports. ° The a.s. Arawata, with the outward portion of the Suez mails, took her departure this afternoon from the railway pier for Melbourne, via the Bluff The p.s. Iren Age commenced the operation of harrowing the bar yesterday on the ebb tide, but owing to the harrow requiring some slight alteration she returned to port and landed It on the dock head.
The barque India, having sufficiently lightened was towtd up the harbor to Dunedin this forenoon by the p.s. Iron Age. The s.s. Taiaroa, with cargo and passengers for Timoru, sailed last evening.
