THE SUBMARINE CABLE.
INTERCOLONIAL NEWS. Sydney, September 23. The schooner Atlantit, found bottom up, was towed into Newcastle yesterday. Her cargo is timber. While digging at Goulbourne yesterday a man found the remains of two murderers who had been gibbeted in chains and buried forty years ago. The highest flood ever known is reported from Tumat district. No Uvea were lost.
A schooner, name unknown, has been wrecked ia the same place as the Eldergrove. Six «lead bodies were seen on the beach.
