"PLUTO."
To the Editor. Sflft,—l quite agree with the remarks of tho clever writer of the able theatrical Critique in 't'ais morning's ' Guardian' anent tho worthlessness of the " local songs and ' Hfe" introduced into the burlesque of "Pluto." If-the management, instead of spending on "the lamentable offort of TOtne unfortunate poetaster," had only mnde application, to me I could have supplied the ihtotre with some "genuine wit ' for a email " consideration," for I can assure you^ - afo I am "a fellow of infinite worth." I.have had the honor, sir, of localising. ■tfaral pieces for one of the greatest jMng burlesque actresses, and my jokes fairly •* bought the house down." It is a gpWb pity, sir, - that the spurioxis article : would pass turrent when-' there is such a •mtntity #f genuine talent in the market. •jjLjJuo no matter, the time will come." —I , r ' Jtttjr/S ; Tragedian. Ptmedin, August 29.
