NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD BOARD.
, . : To the Editor.Sm, Knowing the amount of interest you take in all local matters; I was somewhat surprised at your not having sent a reciter to the. annual meeting of the North’Eaib Valley Road Board, so that the public might have a correct account of the manner tn which'the Board, carries on its work and Spends the money belonging to the ratepayers. A report coming from the clerk or any member of the Board might, and does, sound very well, but if the public only know the principle on which the Board works, I feel sure they would quite agree with me in toying that it should be wiped out altogether.—l am, &c, A Ratepayer. - [R is impossible that we can; send a reporter to every municipal or road board - meeting held in the neighborhood of tho (Sty, but we are at all times willing-to publish reports of the same, if not of undue length, and if supplied by some responsible person.—Ed.
