THE NEW ZEALAND UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION.
To the Edit >r. Sm, —The result of the examination for Junior Scholarships’ is now known. There were twenty-four candidates. Four were successful; and of these three are youths at Christ’s College, Canterbury. Two of the three are specially commended—one lor French, the other for History. I have been informed that there was not One Otago candidate. Is it to be wondered at that parents here send their sons to Christchurch College? - I am, &c., P. Dunedin, August 16.
