EDUCATION AT REVENSBOURNE.
T* tht Editor, >’rß,~l nottcea in your paper a letter signed “ Ravensbourne,” commenting on my letter of the 27th ult. The writer says there is a school in view' of my house. 1 •im aware there is a,caboose in view of my bouse, and likewise believe there are forty children in attendance. But I strongly feel for the weakness of their parents in allowing them to be huddled up like herrings iu a house of such diminutive dimensions. In conclusion, I believe ts ere could be no better tribute to the memory of the fathers of this Province than a monument for the wisdom they displayed in setting apart such vast tracts of country <or the stimulation of edu. ation ; and to prove to the writer that my soul does not lay in money, T would at any time subscribe LlO to such a laudable purpose.—l am, &c, , R. Bacon i.avensbourne, .August 0.
