After coaling she steamed tip ti Dunediu. She left the Bluff at 6 p.m. yesterday, and evperieuced floe weather along the coast to arrival.

Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood's s.s. Bingarooma, with the Suez mail, arrived alongside the railway pier, from Melbourne, via the Bluff, at 8 this mornlag. The Dunodin portion of the mall was immediately landed, aud conveyed to Dunedin by special train. The iingarooma left Melbourne at 2 p.m.' on the 22nd; passed Swan Island at 11.30 a.m. next any, and experienced light southerly winds and fine weather te arriving at the Bluff at 9 p.m. on the 29th j left again at 5 p.m. on the 27th, and had light northerly winds to arrival as above. "We thank Mr Jftgo (purser) for report and exchanges. The Albion Company's steamer Taiaroa, with cargo and passengers for Timaru, sailed last, evening. The Union Company's steamer Ladybird returned from Lyttelton, via intermediate yesterday afternoon. After discharging cargo at the railway pier, she coaled and steamed up to Dnnedin. The union Company's steamer Beautiful Star BAi'.ed this morning for Oamaru. The s.s. Wanganui sailed tast evening for the Bluff. The B.M.S.S. City of New York, for San Franc:sco, via Northern ports and Eandavu, took her departure at 8.30 this morning, with the outward San Francisco mail. She crossed the bar, despite the poor tides, without touching. ABEIVAL OF THE WILLIAM DAVIE. The Albion Company's fiue ship William Davie, which amv*d at ;he Heads ye-t6iday forenoon from London, was towed up the harbor last evening by the tug Geelong, and anchored off the rail way pier after a good passage of eighty-one days from port to port, and seventy seven days from land to land. The William Davie is under the command of Captain M'Allister, and brings about 700 tons of general cargo and seven passengers. She left London on the Bth of May, with a fine N.E. breeze, which continued down channel, and took her departure from the Lizard on the Bth; thence had variable and light N.E. winds until meeting the trades in 26 N. on the 17th, and carried them to the Equator, which was crossed on May 25 in long. 24.10 W.; picled up the S.E. trades the same day, which were poor, and hung well to the southward; spoke the Chilian s.s, City of Santiago (fifteen days out from Valparaiso to Boston) and sent letters by that vessel. Crossed the meridian of Greenwich on the 16th June in lab. 35.32 8., and that of the Cape on the 23rd in lat. 39.55 S. On the 24th of July spoke the ship Norval (from London to this port, eighty-foar days out;; passed Stewart's Island at noon on the 25th inst., and had southerly winds along the coast to arrival. Before landing, the pasjengers presented Captain M'Allister with a testimonial for his kindness and attention towards thorn during the voyage.
