C. Begg, for the Hon. A. Campbell, cowplained that c-rtain persona were in the habit of occupying Crown lands and running stock on the Maerewhcnua Hundred without license, and suggested the appointment of Messrs M. M'Kellar and M. Gardiner as Rangers for the present yea - Agreed to.
Messrs Connell and Moodie, for Mr P. Dunbaxpplied to occupy Jots 1 and 10, block 8, Waitaki bridge, Granted.
On the Application of Messrs Connell and Moodie the Board sanctioned the insertion in the lease of Satulymont reserve for the incoming tenant to pay valuation for aitificial grasses sown by Mr W. J. M Larnach.
The Chief Surveyor was instructed to prepare a description of boundaries of land districts in confcnnity With, the new index map of tlie Province, in order what the same may be published. The Chairman was requested to see the Secretary for Goldfields in the matter of the Wakatip commonage.
The Board agreed to the advertising of deferred payment rents and fees unpaid for the sir months ending June 1876. The applications of Messrs Gourlay, Anderson, Gumming, Lord, and Peter and Campbell for waterrace licenses at Waikawa were recommended by the Banger. Tracings to be furnished. The application to exchange Section 11, for the north of seci ion 4, block 57, Lawrence township, over which a roa -line had been formed by mistake, was granted, the upset price to be L2.
