PUBLIC NOTICE is Hereby Given that owing to the fact that on the 21st inst. an equal number of votes were recorded as polled for the following candidates for the Mayoralty, viz-for Charles Stephen Reeves And William Woodlands, A FRESH ELECTION will take place, afe provided by the Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinances. The Nomination of Candidates for the office of Mayor of Dunedin, for the year ending August Ist, 1877, will be declared on Saturday, the 29th July inst,, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, Water street, at the hour of 12 o’clock noon.
