Auckland, July 20. Mr Corcoran, nephew of the landlord of tiie Greyhound Hotel, getting out of an upstairs window, apparently to reach the adjoining room, fell to the pavement, and was killed.

Chhistchukch, July 21. The Good Templars celebrated their anniversary last night by a tea and entertainment. Over 800 were present. Dr. Turner, travelling lecturer on Hydropathy, was sentenced to one menth’s imprisonment with hard labor, this morning, for stealing a coat belonging to a fellowpassenger by the steamer Wellington.
