I signed, care of Mr Frederick Home, Hillside Road, St. KMa, till 7 o'clock on the evening of Wednesday, the 19th instant, for the Formation of about Seventy-five Chains of Street with Rotten Rock, 12ft. wide; and for Cutting about 'Sixty Chains of Ditches and Scouring about Iwenty-three Chains of Ditches already formed, and for the Repair of Roads already formed within the Borough, and for Cartage of Rock. Specifications for the proposed works can be seen at the Council Uhan>bers, St. Kilda Hotel, on and after Monday first, at 12 noon. The clerk will attend at the Council Chambers on Monday. Tuesday, and Wednesday, from 12 to 2, for the purpose of Bhowing tenderers the proposed works. Deposit of 5 per cent, on the amount of the tender must accompany each tender.
