Per Taiaroa, on Friday, July 21, at 3.20 p.m. Northern Poms or New Zealand.—Per Taupo, on Saturday, July 22, at 11.35 a.m. British and other mails, via San Francisco, will close at this office on the 26th inst. Note.— Postage on letters for the United Kingdom (via Brindisi) has been reduced to 8d per ha!f ounce. Newspapers under four ounces in weight, 2d. Postage on letters for South Sea Islands, viz., Friendly, Cook, Austral (Tubuai), Norfolk, Phoenix, Solomon and Fiji Islands, New Caledonia, New Hebrides, and Samoa has been reduced to 2d per half ounce.
