Wanganui, s.s., 178 tons, Fraser, for the Bluff, The barque Nardoo having discharged her ballast to the ship Horsa was berthed alongside the new pier to take in cargo for Adelaide. The s.s. Wanganui took her departure this afternoon for the Bluff. The Union Company's s.s. Hawea, with cargo and passengers for the Northern ports, took her departure this afternoon from the railway pier. The ketch Trial, with produce from Waikouaiti, arrived yesterday afternoon. Ihe p.s. Samson sailed for Oamaru this morning. The Union Company’s steamer Ladybird, from Wellington via intermediate ports, arrived at Port Chalmers at 8 this morning. She left Wellington at 3.15 p.m. on the 12th, and called at Lyttelton, Aknroa, Timam, and Oamam, Took on board 1.300 sacks of grain and left at 5.10 p.m. on the 17th. Messrs Houghton and Go's. s.s. Wanganui was taken out of the floating dock this Jmorning and hauled alongside the hulk Esk to coal. The Union Company’s s.s. Phoebe was taken out of the Graving Pock yesterday forenoon and moored alongside the bulk Don Than.

The schooner Mary Ogiivie was taken off Isbis tor’s Slip yesterday.
