CIVIL SITTINGS. Saturday, July 15. (Before Iris Honor Mr Justice Williams and a Common Jury.) Richard Goodison v. David Ploudfoot. This case, in which the plaintiff sought to recover compensation for an alleged trespass on certain lands at Musselburgh, was continued. Mr George Cook and Mr G. B. Barton appeared .for the plaintiff, and Mr Macassey and Mr Haggilt for the defendant. A verdict was entered for defendant on all the counts. Monday, July 14. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Willi .ms and a Special Jury.) I'liAsKit v. Ai .i.tson— This was an action to recover 1d,500 for seduction. MrMacassey appeared for plaintiff. Mr I‘iaggitt for defendant.
