SEVERAL complaints having recently been made reflecting on the correctness of the Corporation Gas Meters, notice is hereby given < that any Gas Consumer can have his meter tested, upon lodging at the Gas Office a fee of I ten shillings (10s) to meet the cost. In the event of the meter being thereupon i found incorrect, the ten-shilling fee will be returned. The Council has no alternative but to charge for the gae simply according to the meter register.
