LARRIKINISM.
To the Editor.
Sir, —I should call the attention of the authorities to a band of larrikins who of an evening perambulate the general quiet suburb of Roslyn, throwing stones at all the houses on their line of march, thereby not only destroying property, but also to the imminent danger ©f the inmates thereof. Last night whilst sitting at home I was startled by the youthful band in their nocturnal peregrinations, and on passing my residence a stone was projected with great violence, going through a glass door of my house, and all but striking one of my children who happened to be standing about the spot where the missle found a resting place. Such conduct having been indulged in for some time past, it is most desirable that a repetition thereof should be prevented by some intervention on the part of the authorities.—lam &c. A Resident. Roslyn, July 8.
