•Sir,—Can yon, ot any of yonr readers, inform me under what law or license certai > hotelß—the application for licenses for which were received too late by the annual licensing bench and thrown out—are now carrying on trade?- Also whether there is such a thing as a special license, to be held weekly at a rental of LI, and under what conditions it ia granted ?—I am, &c, A Ratepayer.
