The fossil remains of a whale have been found on the banks of the Murray. Sydney, July 8. It is reported that the Fenian agent
who managed the eaoape of the West Australian prisoners, left for California by the mail. The whaler Catalpa was specially chartered and armed to assist the escape. The cable steamer Edinburgh arrived at Port Darwin on Saturday.
