Her dam Kate was likewise dam of Big Bell, purchased some time since by Mr Holly, of Canterbury, and believed to be the best mare ever stood in New Zealand. The mares are all well known in the show yard, and the young stock deßcibed above are ft>m them, Kate, the winner of many prizes being their dam or grand-Ham; their sires being Emperor, Heather Jock, Colin, &o. Full pedigrees will be furnished at sale.
