THE CHRISTIAN BROTHERS' ART UNION.

To the Editor.

Sir, Poor “ H.” denies himself. He says he was not aware that I had the pleasure of his.acquaintance. “ H.” is certainly known to me, but I confess that I do not know where the pleasure comes in of which he speaks. I must ask “H.” to forgive me if I discredit his assertion that he vainly tried to ascertain when the drawing would take place. Everything in connection with the Art Union has been well advertised, and there are at least a thousand people in Dunedin who could have given him satisfactory information on this subject. —I am, &c., J. J. Connor. Dunedin, June 23. [This correspondence, having become merely personal, must now close.—Eu. *E. S.’]
