RACING STATISTICS.
The racing season 1875-76 have now added some particulars compiled by our sporting contributor, "Pegasuß," may be found of interest. The past season commenced in September of last year, and was brought to. a close by the Aramoho Steeplechases today. The following tables speak for themselves :

The above is far from representing the actual value of the stakes run for, the amount of • the sweepstakes not being included.
The amounts given by the principal Jockey Clubs of each Province are as follows, the highest at a single meeting (L 1,650/ being given by the Dunedin Club at their March meeting:—
The -number of races run and their respective distances were:—
Of the above number 858 were flat and 121 hurdle races.
The next table shows the winnings, in added money alone, of those owners who have won stakes amounting to over L3oo:
This leaves upwards of L 14,000 divided amongst innumerable winners in amounts ranging up to L3OO.
