ABOUT THE LOBBIES. Wellington, June 19. A meeting of the Opposition members was held this afternoon to discuss che present position of affairs. The party was not fully represented, only comparatively few having been requested to attend. It was decided that none of the land transactions, or similar ones, would be made party questions.

{From our own Correspondent.) Wellington, June 20. It is stated that the anti-Centralists, as they call themselves, offered Mr Stafford the leadership of their party, with Mr Stout as Minister of Justice and Sir George Grey Minister of Native affairs. The offer was said to be refused, though some approach to it Was made.
