Taylor, Fraser, Watson, Graham, M'Leod, Allpress, E. H. Campbell, and four steerage. Taranaki, s.s., 298 tons, Lloyd, from the North. Passengers: Mr and Mrs Hawkins, Mrs White, Misses White, C. Phillips, E. Gardner, J. Lore; Messrs Parsons, Durbridge, O’Sulivan, Suffleld, W. Hawkins, M Kinnon, Hunter, Keenan, and seven steerage. ’ Spec, schooner, 82 tons, Campbell, from Shag Point.

Huon Belle, ketch, 42 tons, Currie, for Timard. Awaroa, schooner, 48 tons, Watts, for Invercargill. June 16. Samson, p.s., 124 tons, Edie, fer Oamaru.
Caithloch, ship, 1,361 tons, Phillips, for Guam. The schooner Spec, with a cargo of coal from Shag Point, arrived this forenoon. The schooner Wave of Life, with a cargo of 5,000 ft of timber, from Wangaroa, was towed to Dunedin this morning by the s.s. Jane. The ship Caithloek took her departure this morning with a S.W. wind, being towed to sea by the tug Geelong. She cleared at the Customs for Guam.
The Union Company's chartered s.a. Wanganui arrived early this morning from Lyttelton, via intermediate ports, and steamed alongside the hulk (■ nk to coal, after which she steamed up to Dunedin. She left Lyttelton at 2 p.na. on the 14th, and when oil Pigeon B&y an accident happened to the air-pump, which caused a delay of two hours; arrived at Akoroa atiippm., left again at 11 p.m. same day, arrived at Tfinarn at 11 a.m. on the 15rb, took on board, besides other cargo, 3tt sacks of grain and 52 pigs, and left for Pori Chalmers at 7.15 p.m., arriving as above. Samson sailed this morning for Oamaru, The New Zealand Company’s steamer Taranaki, from the Northern ports, arrived alongside the railway pier at 8 this morning. After landing her mails and passengers she steamed up to Dunedin. She left the Manukau at noon on the 16th, arrived at Taranaki at 7 a.m. on the nth; left again at 9.30. a.m., arrived at' Nelson at 1.83 a.m, on the 12th; left again at 11.45 a,id., arrived at Picton at 8.25 p.m., and left again at midnight; arrived at Wellington at 5.15 a.m. on the 13th, and was taken on the patent slip for the purpose of having her bottom cleaned, and loft again for Lyttelton at 5.30 p.m. on the 14th; arrived at that port at 8.45 a.m., and left again for Port Chain-era at 11.30 stone day, arriving as above; experienced fine weather and Light variable winds from vtannkau to Lyttelton; thence to arrival heavy bead sea.
