Tuesday, June 13. (Before J. Bathgate, Esq., R.M.)

Judgment went for plaintiffs by default in the following cases:—Briscoe and Co. v. Lawrie, claim L 37 17a 7d, on"a dishonored bill; same v. Oscar Beyer (Gisborne), L 45 IGs Id, for goods supplied. Muir v. Davis.—Claim, LI 4s, for two week’s rciit due.—Defendant pleaded that the house was let to him at 10s per week.— Judgment was given for plaintiff for LI, with costs.

Seaton v, Andrew. —Claim, } L2O, for breach of agreement to deliver a chaffcutting machine. Mr Haggitt appeared for plaintiff; Mr Aldridge for defendant.—After evidence had been given, his Worship gave judgment for plaintiff for 111, with costs.
