To the Editor. Sib,—l observe in your issue of yesterday a local announcing the intention - of the rival football clubs—the Dunedin and the Union -—to play a match on the Fast Day, and 'stating that they are to play accovding to the Rugby Union rules. Now, I beg to. iuform no agreement of, that sort Has bediMade between the dubs, and that ypur informant, whoever he may be, has been totally mided,.aS: the Union Club have no intention’of playing Rugby Union rules with any club except one which has adopted them and certainly, not . with the D.F.C. -Apologising for thus trespassing on youi space.—lam&c.
