STONE-THROWING AGAIN.
To the Editor Sm,—fls there any. possibility of preventing this nuisance ? On Sunday afternoon in Frederick street you mjßht have seen a set ofboys watching a lady bolding one of two hoys who had been throwing stone? at her children,)and the language of the boy;would certainly have done credit to any, schoolmaster. The lady, was forced to let the boy at liberty, as his father called him ; but the latter did not seem to take much notice ,of the affair. Hoping yon will give this a space in your paper, 1 am, &0., Ah Observer. Dunedin, May 29. - [lf i .one. or two of the juvenile ; stonethrowers were handed over to the police, we . have no doubt the City Bench, would, upon a clear proof of the facts, make a salutaiy example.— Ed. E.S.]
