Tho captain and crew were washed off the rigging, but they managed to got ashore much cut and bruised. It is uncertain whether the vessel is insured; the cargo was not May 20 : The Taupo sailed for the Smith last night. Passengers: Colonel Reeder, Messrs Craighead and Ha cl field.
