Drukkekness.— William T. Todd, Maicolm M‘Rea, Charles M‘Peak, -and James Currie were all fined ss, in default twenty, four hours’ imprisonment. Assault. —Francis Carey v. Thomas Curran vas a trumpery charge of assault. Mr Mouat defended.—rComplainant came out of gaol lately, after serving a sentence for larceny, and on f unday was hailed by defendant, who had given evidence against him. Complainant replied that he did not wish to converse with defendant, whereupon the latter struck the other in the mouth.—A fine of 20a and costa was inflicted.—John Webb v. Paul Leydon was also a charge of aerault. Defendant was fined 2Qs and costs.
