Auckland, May 18. Sir Donald M ‘Lean proceeds to the Waikato in a day or two. No steps have been taken regarding the brigantine Vibilia, although it is alleged the object of her cruise was slaving. She had not been engaged in that traffic before the accident occurred which caused her to put n to Auckland.
Grahamstown, May 19. John Grabble, draper, and two other men left in a boat on Monday for Coromandel. The boat was found on the beach near Tapu, and the goods strewn along the beach ; but there are no signs of the men.

Oamaru, May 19. Oamaru is De Murska mad. When she arrived yesterday a large crowd met her at the station, and Mr John M‘Lean, of Morven, placed his carriage at her disposal to convey her to her hotel. A number of persons followed. The hall to-night will be crowded, as every seat is taken.
