May 17.—Samson, p.s., 124 tons, Edie, from Oamanx. Passengers.- Mrs Grey, Misses Robertsou, Gilgour, Messrs Roach, Williams, Ogilvie, Fulton, and eight in the steerage. May 18.—Taiaroa, 5."., 228 tons, Stewart, from Timaru. Passengers: Messrs Popporwoll, Evans, and five in the steerage. Wellington, s.s., 262 tons, Carow, from the North. Passengers : Mosdmnes Itarucs, Norman, Miss Barnes, Messrs Corliss, MMatyro, Harris, Harter, Luun and boy, Stevous, Maxwell, Rose, Marlin, Peacock, and one steerage. SAILED. May 17.—Express, s.s., 136 tons, Fraser, far the Bluff. Farra, brigantine, 1U tons, Jenkins, for Kakauui. May 18.—Matau, s.s., 104 tons, Drquhart, for Oamaru. Clio, schooner, 81 tons, Chambers, fsr Moernki. Prairie, brig, 139 tons, Dillmer, for Hobart Town. The p.s. S?msou arrived from Oamaru yesterday afternoon; and after discharging wool, taUow, and preserved meats to the ships Wild Deer and Eakaia, steamed up to Dunedin to discharge the remainder of her cargo. T k e ARMon Company's steamer Taiaroa returned Port at 9 this morning from her usual trip to Tiraaiu, and steamed alongside the ship Wild Deer to discharge 1,549 sacks of grain. She left Timaru at 7 p.m. yesterday, with a moderate N.W. wind which shortly afterwards shifted to the S.S.E., and then hauled round to the S.W., blowing hard, with a heavy sea, which continued until arrival. A three-masted schooner was signalled at the Hoads this morning. Supposed to he the Floral Star,
