Public Notices. E W INDUSTRY. PATENT LIQUID WASHING BLUE. This Blue is superior to those in ordinary use. It gives to White Linen, Woollen, and other Clothing a more even and brilliant tone. Thirty to forty minutes in the Blue is long enough. Streaking is caused by allowing the clothes to be in too long. Passing the clothes, after bluing through water slightly soured with tartaric acid, will cause them to look still more brilliant. Note. —The maker does not, ‘ ‘ Sam slick ” style, hawk this from house to house, having some consideration for the fair interest of the Trade; nevertheless, families will by buying this Blue from their Grocers, obtain a cheaper and better article than any other in the market. Do not judge of this Blue by any other, but prove it by trial. Sold in pint bottles, or in quantity if desired. CONCENTRATED NEW ANILINE DYES. Six colors, viz,—Blue, Magenta, Crimson Violet, Orange, brown. Directions for dyeing upon each bottle. These are more especially got up to supply towns and districts where there are no renovating Dyers. But they are also designed for Coloring Confectionery, Jellies, Creams, Hair, Bone, Pomade, Oils, Candles, Wood, and for Printing Shop-price and other Tickets, and for Inks.
