To the Editor.
Sir, —Kindly allow me space in your paper to suggest the advisability of laying cocoanut matting, or some other material of a like nature, along the several passages in the Princess’s Theatre. Last evening the intolerable noise made by some unfeeling persons determined to prove a nuisance prevented the finest music being heard.—l am, &c., _ PiT. Dunedin, May 16.
