For Napier—Mr and Miss Mitchell; and five Bteerage for all ports. Samson, p.s., 124 tons, Edie, for Oamaru. Shag, s.s., 31 tons, Wing, for Shag Point. The s.s. Shag camo down from Dunedin this morning and steamed alongside the ship Loch A*ve for transhipment of cement, and shortly after took her departure for Shag Point. The p.s. Siimson took her departmre for Oamaru shortly after the arrival of the seven train from Dunedin this morning. The barge Hope arrived with 300 sacks of grain from Waikouaiti yesterday, and passed the Port to Dunedin.

The Union Company's s.s. Beautiful Star, with a full cargo and live passengers, arrived at 9 this morning from Tiniaru, and steamed alongside the ship Kakaia to discharge 1,200 sacks of gram and 43 bales of wool. She left Timaru at 7.10 p.m. yesterday. Had fine weather along the coast. The B.s. "Wallabi came down from Dunedin this morning, and will be taken in Murray's floating dook at high water for a thcrongh overhaul. Tlie barque Denbighshire, having received the whole of her ballast, was removed from the railway pier this morning and anchored in the stream. The brig Pokeha, with a cargo of timber from Kaipara, was signalled at the Heads this forenoon.

SHIPPINGSTELEQEAM. Napiee, May 11.—An inquiry into the wreck of the Helen off the East Coast has been held, and the finding of the Court was that the vessel was lost by striking on a rock not marked on the chart. The master's certificate was returned.
