The amount of revenue received at the Custombouse on goods cleared for consumption this day was .1,100 17s 6d. •

Wool.—Cable advices are still interrupted, but mail advices with accouut sales, both via 'l'ris o antl Suez, are to hand, which fully confirm previous cablegrams as to the extent of the fall in price of wool at the first series of tho London wool sales of 1876. Intelligence of the close of second series is now anxiously looked for. At our weekly auctiou this afternoon we sold a few lots, average quality, o" merino, greasy bringing BJd per lb. bheepskius were well competed fcr, ond brought very full rates. Butchers' cross-breds, 2s 3d to 2s 8d; mixed, Is 10d; lambs, 2s to 2s 3d; full wool merinos, 4s Bd.

Hides were in improved demand, and brought ad. vanced rates. Green butchera', 203 to 22s 3d; wot salted, medium, 19s to 20s <d. Tallotv.—A few small parcels, good country rendered, brought 27s 6d to 29s fid.

Grain.—Wheat is in good req nest, good to superior milling 4s Gd to 4s 9d; inCciior, Is 3d to 4s 5d Fowl's wheat, 3s lOd to 4s. Oats are in improved demand, especially bright feed in shipping parcels, bringing lslOdto Is lid; discolored and inferior, Is 8.1 to 1b 9sd. Barley—malting, auy but the finest sorts aTediilicultto move at quotations, prime 43 6d to 4s 9d; medium, 4s to 4s 3d ; milling qualities, 2s to 3s Gd. At above quotations wo sold at public sale several parcels ot wheat and oats this afternoon.
