DISTRICT COURT.
This Court sat in the Provincial Wall thin morning ; Judge Bathgate presiding. The sole business was the hearing of several cases of appeal from the Green island Corporation’s assessment for the presentyear, which resulted as follows :—James Irvine’s appeal was allowed at L3O; Robert M'Cracken’s was dismissed; Alexander Kirkland’s allowed at L 24 ; Robert Cowie.s allowed at L 2 5; James Eunciman’s, sec. 8, dismissed; secs. 25 to 38, B A, valued at L 56, altered to LlO, three-roomed house, dismissed; bakery allowed at L 45 ; secs. 1 to 5 assessed at L2O; secs. 11 and 12 at L 30 0; secs Ito 14 BB at L2l ; secs. 25 to 38 Bat Ll6; secs Ito 14 C, at Lls; secs. 25 to 88 C, Ll2; secs. Ito3B D, L2l; secs. Ito 29, L 72.
