Public Notices. N EW INDUSTRY, PATENT LIQUID WASHING BLUB. This Blue is superior to those in ordinary use. It gives to White Linen, Woollen, and other Clothing a more even and brilliant tone. Passing the clothes, after bluing, through water slightly soured with tartanc acid, will cause them to look still mere brilliant. Note.— The maker does not, “Sam Slick ” style, hawk this from house to house, having some consideration for the fair interest of the Trade; nevertheless, families will by buying this Blue from their Grocers, obtain a cheaper and better article than any other in the market. Do not judge of this Blue by any other, but prove it by trial. CONCENTRATED NEW ANILINE DYES. Six colors, viz.—Blue, Magenta, Crimson, Violet, Orange, Brown. Directions for dyeing upon each bottle. These are more especially got up to supply towns and districts where there are no renovating Dyers. These Stains are most brilliant. They have great affinity for all animal matter.
