THE SWIMMING TOURNAMENT.

To the Editor. glK,—The reply of Lieutenant Alfred R, Sims, R.N., in your issue of Saturday, is far fi’om satisfactory. His time must be very much occupied indeed if he could not extend his letter a couple of lines and explain to the public why the prizes had not been distributed. He says he will explain the delay to me or anyone else ; but for my part I do not know where he is to be found, even if I were disposed to run after him for an explanation. The public subscribed to a fund for prizes, and I ask Lieutenant Sims to make a public explanation. —I am, &c., Aquatic. Dunedin, May 1.
