Drunkenness. Williams (a Maori) pleaded guilty to this offence, and was fined ss, with the usual alternative. • llegaxly on Premises. —Antonie Ross was charged with being illegally on the premises of the railway company.—Constable Coffee stated that he found the accused at 1 o’clock this morning sleeping in the wool shed.—Ross admitted the fact, and said he had shipped on board the Colima as fireman. —His Worship cautioned the accused as to his future conduct and dismissed him. CIVIL CASES. F. Lamb v. P. Peterson.—This was an adjourned case. The evidence of Thomas Edmonds having been taken, judgment was given for the plaintiff for 30s and costs.
John Dale v. John Warner.—Claim, L2 Is 7d, for groceries. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs.
G. E. Chalton v. J. Honeybone.—Claim, L2 7a Id, for goods supplied. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs, payable by instalments of 10s monthly. -
