The amount of revenue received at the Customhouse on goods cleared for consumption this day was L1,10716s Id. The ‘Timaru Herald* of Saturday last says.— “Some idea of the immense quantities of grain at present in stack in town may be judged from the fact that many of the stores are unable to hold any more, and thousands of bags are being stacked outside on temporary platforms. Despite the large amount that has been shipped away during tho last week, stocks seems still to be increasing.”

Wellington, April 28. — Mr O’Shea reports wholesale produce prices as follows Flour, Lll to Lll 15s, best brauds; milling oala, 2s 4d to 2s 6d; maize, 4s 6d to 4s 9d; bacon and hams, scarce at Is to Is Id; potatoes, 00s and 100s.
